Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings.  Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds and done a hundred things you have not dreamed of, wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence.  Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air... Up, up the long delirious, burning blue, I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace where never lark, or even eagle flew and, while with silent lifting mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of God

Why Us

Advanced Training

The requirements for the following ratings have many variations.  Cost and time to obtain these ratings can vary tremendously.  We therefore recommend that you meet with us to review your flight time and developed a program that works in your favor.

Commercial Pilot Certificate

This certificate is required to qualify as a professional pilot.  A minimum of 250 flight hours is required under FAA Part 61.  Flight-time logged while obtaining the Private Pilot Certificate is included in the 250.

Instrument Rating

In order to fly in conditions other than Visual Flight Rules, you must hold an Instrument Rating.  The requirements for this rating are as follows:

  1. A Private Pilot Certificate

  2. An additional 50 hours of PIC cross-country flying and

  3. A minimum of 40 hours of instrument flight time, of which 15 hours must be given by a Flight Instructor with Instrument Privileges.

Multi-Engine Rating

A Multi-Engine Rating is required for an individual to act as Pilot in Command of an airplane with more than one engine.  This rating has no minimum hours when added to an existing pilot certificate.  However the average is 10 hours of training prior to applying for this rating.
